πΆβπ«οΈ What I'm Up To
This is going to be a bit of a spitball post, which I think I'd like to do. I keep writing up some posts, losing interest, and hen not posting anything. So here's something much more casual to get me to post a bit more and care a bit less.
Playing World of Warcraft Classic (anniversary servers) like I said in a previous post. Dane and I hit level 60 on my priest and his warrior. He's thinking of boosting a character, but it's SO much money and since we already have 60s, it doesn't feel like a good use of playtime.
Started reading King Sorrow by Joe Hill. About 150 pages and it's fun so far. It's WAY bigger than what I'd usually read (just short of 900 pages) so I'm currently thinking if I can finish this, I can read anything. But it IS a lot of dialogue which is making the pages fly by faster, so the more I go along the less I'm sure that's actually true.
I set a reading goal for this year of 15 books since I read 14 last year - with how I organize my books on goodreads, it lists me as reading 16 but I DNF'd two.
I've even already finished a book this year, The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst. It's a cozy romance story and not my usual wheelhouse, but I decided I needed something light and nice after December turned into one of the worst months of my life. (Still not sure if I'll even talk about that here.) But it kind of reminded me a bit of Stardew Valley in a way, which also made me think of Apothecaria. I'd like to get back to that game sometime. I was playing with the thought of putting my Apothecaria entries on this blog... if I get back to the game, maybe I'll do that.
So yeah, mostly books right now. Back into books again. Also looking for an excuse to play with my fountain pens again, honestly. So we'll see.
