👋 Move finished! Hello World, part 2
I've successfully brought over all my posts - there weren't too many to migrate, to be honest. Blogger had been such a pain to work with, I abandoned it pretty quickly.
For the moment, I'm using File Garden to host my images. If I can consistently use this blog, I'll likely pay for the upgrade to host the images here (and add a guestbook and such.) In the meantime, if you want to reach out to me, my mastodon is @SunScales@ComicsCamp.club. I would list my email, but honestly I don't really check it, haha.
Porting my old posts has given me a nice chance to play with the site markdown and everything, though, and get my CSS how I want it. Just minor changes so far, since I'm pretty happy with this theme, but needed some things like auto centering images and limiting how big they can be. Maybe later on I'll add custom images for the header or background or whatever. I saw someone else using emojis in their blog post titles so I'm blatantly stealing that idea, because it's a good one. 😎
To reintroduce myself: Hi, I'm Emily. I'm in my 30s, I'm a C# software developer by day, I just got engaged to my favorite guy in the world, and I like to talk about the various hobbies I pick up. Sometimes you just need an outlet for the weird new thing you've started doing, so that's what this is for! My plan is to keep this a light-hearted blog and share the things that are making me happy at the moment.
