🌻 Hello World?
Hello! I've been on the lookout for a new blog home and was just recommended this cute little site. Earlier this year I set up a new hobby blog on Blogger, which is hanging onto life by a thread. The point of the blog is to give myself an outlet for every random hobby I try out, while also trying to hit that "old internet" feel of traditional blogs. (And, preferably, not a website I have to maintain myself.)
Blogger didn't really work out. It's been a few months since I've posted there, since the editor kept eating my posts and deleting my images. I put it off for a while but today really set out to find a replacement. After sifting through a handful and finally settling on doing something myself, someone out of the blue suggested Bearblog. So here I am, trying it out. The light weight of it is very appealing!
I'll be working on moving some old posts over here and seeing if I like the place. Some of my planned blog topics are going to be fountain pens, video games, gym stuff, art/webcomics, books, petsims... and honestly whatever hobby I'm into at any given moment. 😉 Unity game dev is one of my recent hobbies, maybe that'll get included. We'll see.
